The new Hindi film ‘Cirkus,’ starring Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde, debuted in theatres yesterday (December 23). ‘Cirkus’ took in Rs 7 crore on Friday, and Saturday is expected to be on the lower side as well.
The numbers are abysmally low for a film of this magnitude.
This comes as a rude awakening for Pooja Hegde. She hoped that working with the top director in Bollywood, Rohit Shetty, and with a major star like Ranveer Singh would help her rise to the top of the Bollywood industry. However, the movie is performing poorly at the box office.
And so in the year 2022, she had a flop in Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood.
