Pooja Hegde signs Dulquer Salmaan movie!

Pooja Hegde has almost attained the number one position in Tollywood. She is currently the highest-paid actress in Telugu cinema after Anushka Shetty.

Pooja Hegde is now said to have given her nod to act opposite Malayalam cinema’s heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan. The ‘Mahanati’ actor recently signed a Telugu film in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. The ‘Mahanati’ producers are bankrolling this film.

Set in the backdrop of war, this period love story needs two heroines. Pooja Hegde is said to be playing the main female lead. There is also talk that she has quoted nearly Rs 2.50 crore as remuneration, but producers Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt have convinced her to slash a bit for their project.

The film will start its regular shoot in January. Another top actress will play the other female lead role.
