Poorna plays a lady villain in Nani’s Dasara

Actress Poorna is gaining demand for special characters. As offers have stopped for lead roles, she has cleverly switched to character roles. She was recently seen in the blockbuster ‘Akhanda’. She played an IAS officer in the film. In ‘Thalaivi’, she played Sasikala. In Raj Tarun’s ‘Power Play’, she even did a role with negative shades.

Now, she took up another challenge of doing a character with negative shades in a relatively big film. Our sources say she signed Nani’s upcoming action drama ‘Dasara’. Poorna will be part of the film’s villain gang.

Being directed by newcomer Srikanth Odela, ‘Dasara’ is set against the backdrop of coal mines. Nani and Keerthy Suresh are the main leads. 

Poorna who recently got engaged to a businessman said she will continue her acting career. Thus, she signed Nani’s ‘Dasara’.
