It is no secret that Prabhas is facing a lot of issues about his various movies that have been announced and are on the set. He has signed on to many projects and hoped to work on two films at a time and complete multiple projects this year, but his plans stuck a stumble.
“The Raja Saab” has been facing release issues due to delays in VFX work and financial problems. The shooting of “Fauji” is progressing with these two films on sets; Prabhas is struggling to start the shooting of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit.” The film was to begin its regular shooting in January of this year but has not yet begun.
There are also speculations that doctors told Prabhas to go slow on movie shootings due to his recurring knee problems and not strain them to complete all projects in time. So, he might need rest.
Amidst all these problems, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a little worried about his project, Spirit. Being one of the top directors of Indian cinema, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is in much demand, and he has already committed to taking up the sequel to “Animal” next year. Titled “Animal Park,” the film needs to begin in 2026, or Ranbir Kapoor will get busy with other films.
Understanding Sandeep’s situation, Prabhas reportedly promised him to give priority to his film in the second half of 2025. He asked the director to wait for another two months.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently headed to Mexico to finalize some shooting locations.
Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, “Spirit” is a cop drama in the backdrop of drug cartels and global crime syndicates. Prabhas plays a police officer.
