Prabhas creates a record with three $5M movies

Prabhas has set a new benchmark for stars from South India. He is the sole South Indian lead actor who has achieved a box office gross of five million dollars for three separate films.

His latest film “Salaar” achieved a box office revenue of over $5 million in North America on its first Sunday. The film is poised to achieve more.

Prabhas’s past films, “Baahubali 2” with a revenue of $20 million and “Baahubali The Beginning” with a revenue of $6.9 million, also surpassed the $5 million mark. Consequently, he has achieved a unique accomplishment as the sole South Indian star to have this record.

Rajinikanth has two notable movies in his repertoire – “2 Point 0” with a box office collection of $5.5 million and “Jailer” with a box office collection of $5.7 million.
