Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. After the release of “Baahubali 2,” he became the first Telugu actor to command a paycheck exceeding Rs 100 crore. His remuneration later rose to Rs 150 crore per film, and he even signed a massive Rs 500 crore deal with Humble Films for three projects.

Recently seen in a cameo in “Kannappa,” Prabhas is now gearing up for his next major release, The Raja Saab—a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025, and the shoot is nearing completion.

What’s drawing attention now is Prabhas’s gesture behind the scenes. For “The Raja Saab,” he has reportedly agreed to reduce his usual fee of Rs 150 crore to Rs 100 crore. This is a significant Rs 50 crore pay cut.

This move is believed to be a goodwill gesture toward People Media Factory, which incurred heavy losses after acquiring the Telugu rights to Adipurush. In a show of support, Prabhas voluntarily slashed his remuneration to ease the producer’s burden.

What’s more impressive is that Prabhas has been involved with “The Raja Saab” for over three years. Given the time and effort invested, Rs 100 crore is considered a modest sum for a star of his stature. But Prabhas is known for keeping his word and standing by his producers. This pay cut is yet another example of his loyalty and professionalism.
