Prabhas to join Kalki 2 sets in April, juggles three films

Prabhas continues his high-speed workflow, juggling multiple big-ticket projects without slowing down. Despite the recent setback of “The Raja Saab,” the actor is maintaining his packed schedule, working on three films simultaneously: “Kalki 2,” “Spirit,” and “Fauji.”
Director Hanu Raghavapudi is currently shooting “Fauji,” which is progressing steadily with plans for a Dasara 2026 release. At the same time, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has begun filming “Spirit,” a cop drama featuring Prabhas in a powerful police officer role.
Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin has resumed work on “Kalki 2,” the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. After wrapping a major schedule recently, the team is gearing up for another crucial leg in April, with Prabhas set to join the shoot.
Handling three films at once, Prabhas is expected to sport distinct looks for each project. In “Fauji,” he plays a soldier in a patriotic, alternative historical setting set before India’s independence. In “Spirit,” he takes on the role of a cop in a gritty crime drama.
“Kalki 2,” however, stands out for its ambitious scale. Prabhas will reportedly be seen in multiple avatars — including a bounty hunter, Karna from the Mahabharata, and the mythical Kalki — making it one of the most demanding roles of his career.
