Ending months of speculation, the makers of Prabhas’s “Fauji” have officially announced that the period action drama will hit theaters on December 3, 2026.
The announcement makes Fauji Prabhas’s second theatrical release of 2026, following The Raja Saab, which arrived in January.
The newly unveiled release date poster presents Prabhas in a rugged, shirtless look, wearing a jandhyam and panche, seated on a rock amid a battlefield strewn with bodies while holding a gun. The imagery suggests a warrior pausing after a fierce battle.
The poster carries the tagline, “A battalion who fights alone,” hinting that Prabhas portrays a one-man army in the film.
Set in the early 1940s, Fauji is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, and the film is currently in the final stages of production. The official announcement also puts an end to recent rumors that the film would be postponed to the second half of 2027.
“Fauji” marks the acting debut of Imanvi as the female lead. The cast also includes Jayaprada, Anupam Kher, and Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles.
