Today marked the launch of “Akhanda 2,” the sequel to the blockbuster “Akhanda.” The film sees the return of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal as the lead pair.
In the original film, Balakrishna played a dual role; one character is a collector in love with a Telangana girl, Pragya Jaiswal, and the other is Akhanda, a lord Shiva devotee. Both of Balakrishna’s characters will reappear in the sequel.
Therefore, this film features a repeat performance by Pragya Jaiswal. This will mark her third collaboration with both Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu. She costarred with Balakrishna in “Akhanda” and reportedly plays a role in NBK109.
She appeared in Boyapati’s directorials include “Jaya Jaya Janaki Nayaka” and “Akhanda”.
The 33-year-old actress recently appeared in the Bollywood movie “Khel Khel Mein,” but she didn’t gain any success.
