Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Banerjee, Hema, Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Tanish, Uttej, Prabhakar, and others had participated in the press meet to announce their decisions.

“We have collectively decided to not stay in the executive committee and elected body of MAA and give a free hand to Vishnu and his panel to run the body,” Srikanth said.

Actor Benarjee broke down at the press meet and recalled the humiliating incident he faced during the polls. He said actor Mohan Babu had tried to manhandle him and abused him. Tanish also echoed the same opinion.

Uttej thanked the members who voted for him. He also narrated how actor VK Naresh humiliated them.

They also sounded confident that Vishnu would run the body independently. As of now, they have resigned to their elected positions, but the buzz is that Prakash Raj is planning to float a new organization called ATMAA against MAA in due course of the time. However, Prakash Raj has denied the news. He said they have no such plans.
