Priyadarshi to pair up with folk star Naga Durga in a new film

Priyadarshi continues to balance character roles and lead-hero projects with equal ease. The actor has now signed another film, which will be jointly produced by Bunny Vas and filmmaker Sukumar.

Popular Telangana folk singer Naga Durga has been cast as the female lead opposite Priyadarshi. Naga Durga rose to fame through her folk songs on YouTube, with several of her tracks garnering millions of views and a strong fan following across Telangana. Her transition from folk music to the silver screen is expected to bring a fresh appeal to the project.

The film is said to be rooted in a Telangana family backdrop and will be directed by newcomer Vamsi Reddy. The makers are planning to launch the project formally on June 25.
