Priyadarshi’s rural drama ‘Idupu Kayitham’ launched in Hyderabad

Priyadarshi has commenced work on his new film as a lead actor. Titled “Idupu Kayitham,” the film pairs him with Naga Durga, who shot to fame through her popular YouTube videos.
The title, which translates to “divorce papers,” hints at a story rooted in rural Telangana. The film is being directed by newcomer Vamsy Reddy Dondapati, while Bunny Vas is producing it. Sukumar is presenting the project under the Sukumar Writings banner.
“Idupu Kayitham” was formally launched today in Hyderabad with a special pooja ceremony attended by the film’s team.
Having established himself as a bankable lead actor with acclaimed films like “Balagam” and “Court,” Priyadarshi will be seen playing a rural husband in this drama. The first-look poster presents an intriguing snapshot of the couple’s journey. It features Priyadarshi riding a motorcycle with Naga Durga seated behind him, while a bag of Sakinalu is tied to the vehicle.
The poster suggests that the couple is returning to Hyderabad after celebrating the Sankranthi festival in their native village, setting the stage for a story deeply rooted in Telangana culture and relationships.
