Senior producer and distributor V.Doraswamy Raju is no more. He died of cardiac arrest. He breathed his last on Monday morning at Care Hospital in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

He was known for producing classics like ‘Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu’ and ‘Annamayya’. He also presented blockbusters such as NTR – Rajamouli’s ‘Simhadri’. Some of his other super hit productions also include ‘President Gaari Pellam’ and ‘Kirayi Dada’.
He had distributed around 750 films in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, mainly in the Rayalaseema region.
