Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2” became the all-time highest-grossing opening movie in Indian cinema. The numbers are debatable, but the film raked in massive numbers from North India; thus, its overall figure on the first day in all of India set a new record.
Similarly, “Pushpa 2” raked in a huge amount in the USA, the highest ever for an Allu Arjun starrer. It stands as the second highest-grossing Telugu movie in North America on the first day this year after “Kalki 2898 AD.” It even outperformed NTR’s “Devara”.
The film also stood at the fourth position among the best opening Telugu movies in the USA market.
