Months have passed since the release of ‘Pushpa’, but the success celebrations have not stopped at Allu Arjun’s home, and his father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy threw a party last weekend. On the other hand, director Sukumar went on a vacation. He will return to Hyderabad next month.
The second part of ‘Pushpa’ titled ‘Pushpa the Rule’ was to commence the regular shoot in April and get ready for release in December 2022. However, Sukumar and Allu Arjun have decided to push the film to next year.
‘Pushpa 2’ will be mounted on a big scale. It needs a minimum of a year to execute it well. Sukumar and his team had faced many problems last year during the release of ‘Pushpa’. Many prints were shipped with poor sound mixing. To avoid technical issues and unnecessary headaches, they have decided not to release ‘Pushpa 2’ this year.
‘Pushpa 2’ may release during summer 2023.
The film will feature Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in important roles.
