Amidst the rumors that the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ have inked a deal with a streaming company for a direct-OTT release, director Radha Krishna Kumar has put an end to them with his latest tweet. Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day, he tweeted, “#radheshyam in theatres soon.”
“As soon as the covid situations and restrictions come down the production house will announce the date (sic),” he further added.
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ got postponed due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. The film was ready to hit the theaters on Jan 14, 2022. However, they pulled the film in the wake of a surge in cases.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, ‘Radhe Shyam’ is a love story set in Europe. It deals with destiny and re-birth. A couple of songs from the film came out and the film’s trailer was also released.
The makers say the film will release in theaters only.
