Superstar Rajinikanth has not delivered a blockbuster lately. He is also facing many health issues. His elder daughter Aishwaryaa also announced separation from husband Dhanush.
Despite many issues, the 70-year-old actor is thinking of signing more films. According to buzz in the Tamil film industry, he recently met young and happening director Nelson Dilipkumar and heard a story idea from him. He asked Nelson Dilipkumar to develop it further.
If things work out well, Nelson will direct Rajinikanth next. And the film may go on floors in May. Sun Pictures will bankroll it. Rajinikanth’s recent release ‘Peddanna’ (‘Annaatthe’ in Tamil) bombed at the box office.
Nelson Dilip Kumar is currently working on Vijay’s ‘Beast’.
