Actress Rakul Preet Singh has accepted the summons from Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug investigation in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. She will appear before the NCB team on Friday (September 25) for questioning.
Earlier in the day, her lawyer denied the news of Rakul receiving any summons from NCB, but by afternoon, she accepted them.
Canceling her shoot of a film being directed by Krish, she went to Mumbai last night. The officials will grill her tomorrow.
The officials will ask her whether she consumed drugs during parties with Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty allegedly revealed Rakul Preet Singh’s name to NCB officials.
However, in her earlier statement, Rakul said she is a teetotaller and never took drugs.
Rakul Preet Singh is acting as a village girl in director Krish’s Telugu film based on a novel, Kondapalem. Her photos from the movie got leaked recently.
