Ram Charan and team ‘Peddi’ head to Sri Lanka

Ram Charan has been working tirelessly on his upcoming film “Peddi,” aiming to complete it on time for its planned March 2026 release. After recently wrapping up a song shoot in Pune, the team has now flown to Sri Lanka for the next schedule.

Ram Charan, director Buchi Babu Sana, and key crew members left for Sri Lanka today. The new schedule will take place in some of the country’s most scenic locations.

“Peddi” is a sports drama featuring Ram Charan as a rural athlete, with Janhvi Kapoor playing his love interest. The film’s music is composed by A.R. Rahman.

Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is slated to release on March 27, 2026. With about 60 percent of the shoot completed, the team still has a packed schedule ahead, including major sequences to be filmed in New Delhi soon.
