Ram Charan ensures no delays this time

Ram Charan is currently immersed in the shoot of “Peddi,” a rural sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Fully committed to the project, the star is determined to ensure it is completed on schedule. And the entire team is working with that deadline in mind.

After losing over three years to the prolonged shoot of “Game Changer” with director Shankar, Ram Charan has reportedly made it clear that he won’t allow such delays going forward. He has asked director Buchi Babu to stick to the planned timeline and wrap up “Peddi” by the end of 2025 although it its screens only in March 2026.

Understanding the star’s commitment, director Buchi Babu is shooting the film at a brisk pace. Ram Charan has also decided to dedicate no more than a year to each of his upcoming projects. Starting in 2026, he is expected to begin work either with Sukumar or on another major film.

With clear timelines and expectations in place, the “Peddi” team is fully conscious of the deadline and is working accordingly.

“Peddi” features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with music composed by A.R. Rahman. The film is being produced by Vriddhi Cinemas.
