Ram Pothineni has slowed down following the failure of Boyapati Srinu’s film ‘Skanda’. He wasn’t sure which film he should agree to in order to make a big comeback. Although he collaborated with director Puri Jagannadh on “Double iSmart,” he is dissatisfied with the film due to production delays.
So he wants to make two or three films quickly.
According to reports, Ram Pothineni recently gave the green light to director P Mahesh Babu, who directed “Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty” starring Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty. He reportedly liked the director’s storyline. It is expected to be launched soon. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll the film.
Aside from that, he hopes to collaborate with directors such as Harish Shankar, who has previously told him stories. However, one of these projects is set to begin shortly.
On the other hand, the release date for “Double iSmart” will be announced soon. The film is expected to hit theaters in September 2024.
