Social media was abuzz with the reports that Rana Daggubati has agreed to be part of the Sobhan Babu biopic project. Media reports said that a prominent filmmaker narrated the idea of making a biopic on yesteryears heartthrob Sobhan Babu. Rana reportedly liked the idea.
However, sources close to Rana have informed us that the reports are baseless. Plus, Rana does not suit to play Sobhan Babu, who was known for his handsome features. Sobhan Babu was a dream man for a generation of Telugu women. Rana looks manly but does not fit to be a Sobhan Babu. This would have become a total miscast.
Rana has not signed any new film lately. His priority is to complete the shootings of ‘Virata Paravam’.
