Rana’s Aranya joins Sankranthi 2021 race

‘Aranya’, the multi-lingual film starring Rana Daggubati, was scheduled for April 2020 release. Due to the lockdown, the film could not have a theatrical release. At one time, the makers had toyed with the idea of streaming it on the OTT platform directly. However, the makers have finally decided to go for the theatrical window.

The makers have now announced the new date.

Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the action drama will release in three languages – Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. Titled Haathi Mere Saathi’ in Hindi, the film also has Tamil star Vishnu Vishal in another lead role. Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar play important roles.

‘Aranya’ is the story of a man living in the jungle for 25 years. The film focuses on ecological issues and the deforestation crisis.

‘Aranya’ is officially joined the race of Sankranthi 2021. We need to see how many films would line up for the festival.
