Nithin’s previous film ‘Bheeshma’ was a decent hit in the theaters but it could not achieve an impressive rating when it premiered on TV. In contrast, ‘Rang De’, which flopped in the theaters, had a better impression on the small screen.

‘Rang De’ starring Nithin and Keerthy Suresh had a world television premiere on June 20 on the Zee Telugu channel. It has garnered 7.22 TV ratings in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This is an impressive number for a Nithin starrer.

Nithin had two releases this year – ‘Check’ and ‘Rang De. He will have another release with ‘Maestro’ but the movie will directly premiere on OTT space (Hotstar).
