Rashmika Mandanna, one of Indian cinema’s leading actresses with a string of pan-Indian blockbusters to her credit, recently impressed audiences with her deglam role in “Kuberaa.” Up next, she is set to captivate viewers in “The Girlfriend.”
The film has now entered its final leg of shooting. A song featuring Rashmika and Dheekshith Shetty is currently being filmed in Hyderabad.
The team is expected to announce the film’s release date soon, and one of the songs will be unveiled later this month as part of the promotions.
Directed by Rahul Ravindran, “The Girlfriend” is centered around Rashmika’s character. It is being jointly produced by Geetha Arts and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Dheekshith Shetty plays the male lead in this female-centric drama.
