Director Buchi Babu is currently busy filming his second project after his debut “Uppena”. His second film (#RC16) features Ram Charan in the lead role and is one of the biggest movies of this year. The director made a statement that has made Ram Charan’s fans go into a frenzy.
Speaking at a movie event, Buchi Babu said his father waited outside a movie theater and inquired of every patron about the response to his debut film, “Uppena”. The director stated that such a scenario won’t be repeated now because nobody needs to ask the response, as it would become a sure-shot blockbuster.
Every director will have confidence in their film, but Buchi Babu’s comments show that he is determined to deliver a blockbuster.
The sports drama has Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Bollywood actor Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu are playing key roles.
AR Rahman is composing the music while Rathnavelu is handling the camera. The film is bankrolled by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers.
The untitled sports drama is expected to arrive in theaters this October. The shooting is progressing in Hyderabad.
