Actress Renu Desai and her son Akira have tested positive for COVID-19. But they are already recovering from it.

“Hello… Inspite of sitting at home most of the time and sitting at home for new years, Akira and I tested positive with symptoms few days ago. We both are recovering now and I request all of you to please take this 3rd wave seriously. Wear your masks and be careful as much as possible (sic),” Renu Desai posted on her Instagram page.
She got vaccinated last year. As the government allowed vaccinations to kids above 15 years, Akira Nandan was readying to get vaccinated himself, but he contracted the coronavirus now.
Renu is Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife. Akira is Pawan Kalyan and Renu’s first child.
