The makers have officially unveiled the title glimpse of “Rowdy Janardhana,” Vijay Deverakonda’s new film directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju under the Sree Venkateshwara Creations (SVC) banner. The glimpse was released today, setting the tone for an intense and violent drama.
The first-look poster presents Vijay Deverakonda in a striking shirtless avatar, his body splattered with blood as he carries a swivel on his shoulder. Sporting a rugged, retro look, the two-minute glimpse showcases his full-blown violent side, with visuals of him mercilessly taking on sword-wielding rowdies who attack him.
Intense teaser
In a powerful moment, Vijay Deverakonda reveals his face and delivers a punchline, declaring that while everyone in Kalingapatnam claims to be a rowdy, he is the only one whose very surname is “Rowdy,” introducing himself as Rowdy Janardhana.
The glimpse ends with hints of a childhood episode, adding intrigue to the narrative. The video also confirms that the film is slated for a December 2026 theatrical release.
Marking a complete departure for director Ravi Kiran Kola, best known for the rom-com Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, the film promises a raw and intense storytelling style.
Malayalam composer Cristo Xavier elevates the visuals with a riveting background score. Keerthy Suresh stars as the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this high-octane action drama.
