Post one-weekend the film picked up. Thanks to the good word of mouth and the hype around the film. It went on to make big money despite starting slow.
Surprisingly, the film also had about Rs 10 crore to its kitty in the fourth weekend. Despite a mega-storm at the box office in the form of KGF 2, ‘RRR’ gaining Rs 10 crore last weekend, is a big achievement
Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’ was also released in the Hindi market last week. Since it turned out to be a damp squib the theatres of Beast were given to RRR.
