The name Rajamouli is enough for moviegoers to book tickets. With ‘Baahubali’ movies, he has gained a cult fan following among NRI audiences as well. The way the bookings of ‘RRR’ in the USA and Australia are getting registered reinforces the fact that Rajamouli’s name is enough to pull the audiences to the theaters.
The trailer of ‘RRR’ raised the expectations high. Hence, the audiences are eager to watch it on the first weekend itself.
In the USA, the film’s advance ticket sales have already crossed $3 million gross. The number will go up in the coming week. A similar trend is witnessed at the Australia box office. ‘RRR’ is going to set a new record for Indian movies in the first weekend.
The overseas rights of ‘RRR’ fetched the producer Rs 62 crore. The film needs to have long legs to recover the investment, though.
‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan is slated to hit the theaters worldwide on 25th March 2022.
