By now, everyone has come to realize that the second wave of COVID-19 will continue for longer than expected. The pandemic situation is not going to be contained so easily. Likewise, the movie shootings and releases will not happen anytime soon.
Rajamouli’s epic drama ‘RRR’, which was postponed several times in the past, will also not make it to the theaters on October 13, 2021. It is a just matter of formality for the makers to announce the postponement of the movie.
More importantly, the film needs to complete another 30 to 40 days of shoot. Two songs on Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt, two major scenes are to be canned.
We have to wait and see whether Rajamouli would use NTR’s birthday (May 20) to declare the new release date. The film will certainly only be released in 2022.
‘RRR’ features NTR and Ram Charan as the freedom warriors. It is being produced by DVV Danayya. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the lead pair. Ajay Devgn is playing a crucial role.
