Salaar 2 to begin production soon, confirms producer

With multiple big-ticket films already on his plate, Prabhas continues to dominate headlines. The star is currently wrapping up “Fauji,” directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, while simultaneously working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit.”

Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin has already commenced work on “Kalki 2,” with key portions featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan currently being filmed.

Amid this packed schedule, fans have been eagerly waiting for an update on “Salaar 2.” Now, producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films has confirmed that the sequel will soon go on floors.

“Salaar 2” is the second installment in the franchise directed by Prashanth Neel. The first part, released in 2023, turned into a major action spectacle and left fans demanding a follow-up. However, with Prabhas juggling multiple commitments and Neel busy with his ongoing project starring NTR, there had been little movement on the sequel until now.

Vijay Kiragandur has now assured that the second part will be mounted on an even grander scale and that production will begin very soon.
