Salaar is set to touch $9M mark

Despite varied reactions and mixed reviews, Prabhas starrer “Salaar” turned out to be a big hit in the United States. So far, the film has grossed $8.6 million in North America. As a result, it became one of the highest-grossing Indian films in North America.

“Baahubali 2,” which also starred Prabhas, maintained the top spot with a $20 million revenue. Rajamouli’s “RRR” is the second highest-grossing Telugu film. “Salaar” is currently ranked third.

The film has no competition at the box office until Sankranthi films like “Guntur Kaaram” arrive on January 11th. So, it still has the opportunity to add more dollars to its kitty. But the chances of “Salaar” breaking the $10 million mark are slim.

This is also Prashanth Neel’s biggest hit in North America. His previous film “KGF 2” made $7 million.
