Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao agreeing to turn a lead hero at the age of 78 raised many eyebrows. Writer-actor-director Tanikella Bharani is behind Raghavendra Rao playing this role. Tanikella is all set to direct a film about a retired man recollecting memories, and he felt that Raghavendra Rao suits well for this role.
The camera-shy Raghavendra Rao has agreed to act with three heroines in this film. However, he got a jolt when Samantha refused to pair up with him. Tanikella Bharani approached Samantha to play the main female lead, but she has declined to sign the film.
Now, Tamannaah Bhatia is playing the role.
The film will have three heroines – Ramya Krishna, Tamannaah, and Shriya Saran.
Samantha doesn’t want to sign any new movies until she completes the already agreed ones. This was the reason why she had rejected the offer.
