Sapthami Gowda rose to nationwide fame with the blockbuster “Kantara.” She later made her Telugu debut opposite Nithiin in “Thammudu,” though the film did not perform well at the box office.
Now, the actress has strongly called out certain photographers for filming female actors from inappropriate angles at public events.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sapthami pointed out that videos and photographs of actresses are often shot from objectionable angles and widely circulated on social media. She alleged that some deliberately focus and zoom in on specific body parts unnecessarily.
Stating firmly that “actors are not objects,” she said actresses collectively and unequivocally condemn such deliberate zoom-ins and inappropriate angles.
