Senior actress Aamani joins BJP

Actress Aamani has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. She was inducted into the party at the BJP office in Hyderabad in the presence of Telangana BJP president Ramchander Rao, who welcomed her by draping the party scarf. Union Minister Krishna Reddy and other party leaders were also present at the event.

Originally from Karnataka, Aamani has joined the BJP’s Telangana unit.

Aamani is a award-winning actress who rose to prominence in the 1990s. She starred in Bapu’s Mister Pellam (1993), which gave big recognition in Telugu. She received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Subha Lagnam (1994) and won Nandi Awards for Best Actress for Subha Sankalpam (1995) and Mister Pellam (1993).

In recent years, Aamani has been seen playing mother roles in Telugu films.
