Samantha Ruth Prabhu was deeply disappointed by the outcome of ‘Shaakuntalam,’ but she quickly moved on to her next project. She arrived in London on Tuesday and began work on ‘Citadel,’ her web series.
She posted famous lines from the Bhagavad Gita alongside a photo from her London trip. Lord Krishna says in the ‘Bhagavad Gita’ that one should work without regard for the outcome. She wrote, “Karmanye vadhika raste Ma phaleshu kadachana Ma karma phala he tur bhuh Ma te sangotsva karmani (You do your work. You don’t own the fruits).”
It is her reaction to the outcome of “Shaakuntalam”.
“Citadel” is the Indian adaptation of the same American television series. In this Indian adaptation, Samantha plays Priyanka Chopra’s role. The web series is being directed by Raj and DK. The male lead is played by Varun Dhawan. The filming is currently taking place in London.
