Shah Rukh Khan offers prayers at Tirumala temple
Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, offered prayers to Lord Sri Venkateshwara at Tirumala Tirupathi temple on Tuesday. Shah Rukh Khan took part in Suprabhata seva this morning with his daughter Suhana Khan, and actress Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Sivan.
Officials from Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam had made all arrangements for the actor and his family to offer prayers. Khan and his family then proceeded to Ranganaykula Mandapam, where the priests performed the Veda Ashirvachanam and presented Teertha Prasadam.
Shah Rukh Khan wore traditional white Lalchi Pyajama.
Last week, the superstar was spotted praying at Jammu and Kashmir’s famous Vaishno Devi temple. His latest film, “Jawan,” is set to be released. The film set a new record for advance ticket sales on the BookMyShow app. The action drama will have a strong first day.
Jawan, directed by Atlee, is set to hit theaters on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
