Director Shankar is known for perfectionism. He put undivided attention into each project he took up. For the first time in his career, Shankar is breaking the rule of working one film at a time.
He will be filming Ram Charan’s pan-Indian film (#RC15) and Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ around the same time. In other words, he will complete one schedule of ‘Indian 2’ and then take up ‘RC15’ or vice versa.
On Wednesday, he resumed the shooting of ‘Indian 2’ in Chennai, and the current schedule will go on for ten days. Shankar says he will return on the sets of ‘RC 15’ in the first week of September. “Hi Everyone, Indian 2 and #RC15 will be shot simultaneously. Ready to shoot the next schedule of #RC15 from the first week of September in Hyderabad and Vizag! (sic),” he wrote.
In a way, Shankar is doing what yesteryear filmmakers like Dasari Narayana Rao, Kodi Ramakrishna, and K Raghavendra Rao used to do. They had worked on multiple projects simultaneously.
‘RC15’ is the 50th production of ace producer Dil Raju. The film stars Kiara Advani as the heroine.
