Shine Tom Chacko released on bail in a drug case
Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who is also popular in Telugu cinema for his roles in films like “Dasara” and “Devara”, was arrested by Kochi Police on Saturday in a drug case, and was released on bail later in the evening.
The actor made headlines after he was seen fleeing from a hotel in Kochi during a raid on Wednesday. Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious has accused him of inappropriate behaviour on the sets of a Malayalam film.
He reportedly informed the police that he has not taken any drugs. He cited fear of being attacked as the reason for running away from the hotel.
Shine Tom Chacko has denied any connection with drug dealers.
Earlier this year, Shine appeared in Telugu films like “Daaku Maharaaj” and “Robinhood.”
