Shruti Haasan’s comments about her experience filming the “Waltair Veerayya” song “Nuvvu Chiranjeevi Aitey Nenu Sridevi” sparked widespread outrage.
She danced with Chiranjeevi in a Swiss ski resort while dressed in a Saree. She didn’t enjoy it one bit because she struggled to dance in her Saree due to the freezing temperatures. She also commented that filmmakers should portray women in a realistic way.
Her comments were not well received by fans. Now she claims the media distorted her original statements.
“This is truly the best phase of my life – I’m so excited about my work , my heart , my life and the growth I need for myself. I’ve also understood being misunderstood is a constant but so is love and light,” she wrote on Twitter.
