Shruti Haasan turns down Balakrishna’s film?

Has Shruti turned down Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film? There is a strong buzz that Shruti Haasan politely declined to act in director Gopichand Malineni’s new film. Director Gopichand Malineni and Shruti Haasan are close buddies. He considers her lucky mascot as two films she had done (Balupu and Krack) have become blockbusters.

He wanted her to play the female lead in his next movie starring Balakrishna as the hero. But she doesn’t want to pair up with senior actors at this moment of her career since she is playing opposite the superstars like Prabhas. Shruti is currently shooting for ‘Salaar’ in Hyderabad.

Buzz is that Shruti, however, has agreed to make a cameo appearance in the film, not as a lead actress opposite Balayya.

The untitled film will be launched next month. It is said to be based on real incidents. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project.
