He hoped to recreate the magic of “Tillu Square” with “Jack,” but the recently released film proved that he can’t pull even decent opening collections on his name alone—unless there’s brand value or strong content. “Jack” didn’t even collect 10 percent of its theatrical business. The producer faced significant losses.
Now, Siddhu seems to have realized that he needs to be extra careful and work harder on his next film to prove himself again.
“Telusu Kada” will be his next release. Neeraja Kona is helming the film in her directorial debut. She is a popular stylist. People’s Media Factory bankrolls “Telusu Kada,” which stars Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna as the lead actresses.
Siddhu hopes to bounce back with this rom-com. But before finalizing the release date, he wants to recheck the output. Sources say the team has already started introducing changes to the script. Hence, the release has been delayed.
