Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film “The Paradise” has been stuck in a cloud of uncertainty despite the team repeatedly confirming March 26 as the release date ever since the project was launched. Even as recently as last month, the makers reiterated the same date. However, the film has now been postponed, and surprisingly, no official announcement has been made yet.

What’s raising eyebrows is that other films initially slated for March 26, including Ram Charan’s “Peddi,” have already announced fresh release dates. In contrast, the Paradise team has maintained silence, leaving fans and the trade guessing about the film’s fate.

April appears to be a crowded month with multiple Telugu releases such as Biker, Mrithyunjay, Swayambhu, Dacoit, and Peddi already locked in. Given the tight competition, industry circles believe The Paradise may be pushed to May to take advantage of the summer holiday window.

According to insiders, a significant portion of the shoot is still pending. Wrapping up production within the next two or three months is said to be a major challenge for director Srikanth Odela. Because of this, the makers might even consider a late summer release, with the final call likely to be taken only after gaining clarity on the film’s completion status.

“The Paradise” features Nani in a striking period role named Jadalu, sporting an intense makeover with braids and body tattoos. Kayadu Lohar plays his love interest, while Mohan Babu appears in a key role. Sonali Kulkarni essays the role of Nani’s mother. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Interestingly, despite the film’s scale and buzz, the makers have not released a single song so far, unlike other big-ticket films currently in production, adding to the mystery surrounding its release plans.
