Good news! Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam is on a road to recovery. The veteran singer, who has been on life support at MGM Health Care in Chennai, is now able to recognize doctors. According to his son SP Charan, SPB is also breathing a little bit comfortably than before.
SP Charan posted a video on Facebook giving an update on the health condition of his father. “The good news is that there is some mobility in his body, he has shown thumbs-up sign to doctors. He can recognize them. He is still on life support but we are sure that he will recover as soon as possible. It may not happen in a day or two, but he will be back with us,” he said.
SP Balasubrahmanym had contacted coronavirus earlier this month and been admitted to hospital on August 5. His condition had deteriorated on August 13. Since then he has been under life support in ICU.
The veteran singer has 40,000 to his credit.
