Spirit: Prakash Raj slams fake reports of exit from film

Several media outlets recently fell prey to social media speculation and carried reports claiming that Prakash Raj was removed from the cast of Prabhas-starrer “Spirit.” The reports suggested that the senior actor had a fallout with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga during the film’s shoot.
Putting an end to the rumours, Prakash Raj took to social media to firmly deny the claims. The actor clarified that the news about his removal from “Spirit” was completely baseless and added that he has not even begun shooting for the film yet.
Calling out what he described as “fake news factories,” Prakash Raj criticised the spread of such toxic rumours.
He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “To all the toxic #Fakenews peddlers…. On #Spirit the movie. We have not even started shooting for my scenes.. and you WhatsApp factories speculate stories. Grow up and have a life (sic).”
Notably, Prakash Raj’s voice was featured in the audio teaser released by Sandeep Reddy Vanga during the official announcement of “Spirit.” The film recently went on floors with Prabhas and actress Tripti Dimri, though Prakash Raj confirmed that his portions are yet to be filmed and that he remains very much part of the project.
“Spirit” is one of the most awaited big-ticket films, with expectations riding high after Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s recent blockbuster “Animal.”
