Sreeleela heaves a sigh of relief with the confirmation

Sreeleela had a great phase in 2022 and 2023, joining the top league of actresses with a series of movies and landing some high-profile projects opposite top stars such as Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. As has been demonstrated numerous times, actresses’ careers are fraught with uncertainties, and their top celebrity status is fleeting. Sreeleela had nearly six film releases in the last 15 months, but she also had back-to-back flops, putting her career in trouble.

After “Guntur Kaaram” received a lukewarm response at the box office, Sreeleela’s career took a sudden dip. She hasn’t signed a new movie or participated in a shoot in the last three months.

Since the shooting of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” was halted in September 2023, it has been speculated that the makers may change the heroine when it resumes later this year, as Sreeleela has lost the hype surrounding her. She, too, was unsure about the outcome of her role in this film.

But now she can breathe a sigh of relief because the makers recently released a new teaser in which her presence was felt. She appeared in a few shots, confirming her role as the film’s female lead.

So, whenever the film is restarted, Sreeleela will play Pawan Kalyan’s leading lady. As a result, she has another big project this year.
