Kannada actresses gaining popularity in Telugu cinema is not a new trend. From Sumalatha and Soundarya to Rashmika Mandanna, Tollywood has embraced many leading ladies from Karnataka. Now, Srinidhi Shetty is also aiming to strengthen her foothold here.
The KGF actress has already acted in “HIT 3” and is now promoting her upcoming film “Telusu Kada.”
Speaking about the Telugu language, she said, “I started learning Telugu back in my college days. I had many Telugu friends then. Although HIT 3 was released first, Telusu Kada was actually the first Telugu film I signed. Soon after that, I began sharpening my language skills. I hope to dub my voice in Telugu very soon.”
She plays one of the female leads alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the film.
“Telusu Kada is basically a love story, but it has its own surprises. It will definitely entertain you,” she added.
