In continuation of her love for the South Indian film industry, she has recently signed Tamil films. She portrayed a former Chief Minister in her biopic “Thalaivi,” which was released on a pan-Indian scale but tanked at the box office.
Now, her latest Tamil film, “Chandramukhi 2,” which was released as a pan-Indian project, bombed like anything. This is a disaster, especially in Telugu. Her portrayal of Chandramukhi, which was originally played by Jyothika in the first installment, was met with criticism.
Kangana Ranaut previously appeared in a Telugu film alongside Prabhas in “Ek Niranjan,” but she has not found much success in the South so far.
