Sukumar unveils ‘Banaras’ first single Maaya Ganga

Zaid Khan, Sonal Monteiro’s Banaras has been capturing the imagination of all. The film which is a pan India entertainer is directed by Jayathirtha. The makers recently captivated everyone with a motion poster.

To keep up the pace, the makers released a spellbinding track called ‘Maayaganga’ today. The song was launched by creative director Sukumar.  The song is visually stunning, and it showcases the lead pair’s magical chemistry on the streets of Banaras.

Armaan Maalik crooned this song wonderfully, and Ajaneesh Loknath’s trancing tunes will put you in a trance. The video song captures Banaras brilliantly, including lovely sites such as ghats, temples, the Ganga, and boat trips.

Written and directed by Jayathirtha, the movie will be his next after the 2019 hit crime comedy Bell Bottom, which starred Rishab Shetty. Banaras, which has been extensively shot in its namesake, is produced by Tilakraj Ballal and co-produced by Muzammil Ahmed Khan. The movie also stars Sujay Shastry, Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Sapna Raj, and Barkat Ali.

The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, while Advaitha Gurumurthy and K. M. Prakash are the cinematographer and editor respectively. The project will hit cinemas in 2022 in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
